Robert Hoyt Parrett

Hoyt was very proud of his service to the city as Transportation Supervisor for city schools and the Sylacauga Fire Department.

Hoyt is survived by his son, Robert Marion Parrett (Donna) of Childersburg, Alabama; daughter, Carol Wilson of Foley, Alabama; daughter, Karen Thompson (Mark) of Hoover, Alabama; son, David Parrett of Sylacauga, Alabama; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers-in-law; and 1 sister-in-law.

Hoyt was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Wilma Gill Parrett; father, James William David Parrett and mother, Henri Hattie (Bishop) Parrett; son-in-law, Donald Lee Wilson; 6 brothers, and 2 sisters.

A visitation for Hoyt will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.
