Childersburg, AL. - Robert W. Cox, age 72, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.
Robert is survived by his sisters, Clara Etress, Orene Hammonds; brother, Arthur Lee Cox Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his sisters, Jane Howard, Iva Mae Herman, Evelynn Wesson, Bernice Cox; and brothers, Jesse Cox, Gene Cox, Alton Cox, Ed Cox, Noble John and Roy Cox.
He was a lifelong Talladega County resident and served in the Army for 9 years.
A visitation for Robert will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Joe Kelley officiating.
Robert will be laid to rest at Fayetteville Methodist Cemetery, 5441 Old Fayetteville Rd, Sylacauga, AL 35151.
