Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Pete Hosey, 81, will be Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 11:00 am at Radney-Smith Chapel with family and friends officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.
Mr. Hosey died Sunday, July 11, 2021 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He served his country in the Army at Fort Dix where he was stationed. He was very committed in his faith and served the Lord thru his music and helping others. Pete was a great musician and a fine artist.
He is survived by son, Eugene Hosey; daughter, Lisa (David) McGalliard; adopted son, Matthew Duncan; two grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Taft, Jacob McGalliard; adopted grandchild, Alex Duncan; and two great-grandchildren, Ellison Jane Taft, Everett James Taft.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 13, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Jacob McGalliard, Matt Taft, Dave McGalliard, David Robinson, Ray Thornton and Matthew Duncan.
