Norma Jean "Toots" Wilson Wright

3/21/34 – 4/22/24

On April 22, 2024 Norma Wright, age 90, left this world for her heavenly home while at Hunter Creek Nursing Home in Northport Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her husband-Norman Ralph Wright, her father- Sidney Silver Wilson, her mother - Edna Estelle Edwards Wilson, her sister June Holmes.

She is survived by her 3 children: Debbie Forehand Acklin (Perry), Michael Forehand (Kelly), Allen Wright (Teresa), Grandchildren: Amy Acklin, Greg Acklin, Matt Wright (Lisa), Paul Wright (Kara), Joseph Forehand (Chelsea), Jake Forehand and John Forehand, Nephew and Niece: Bryan Holmes (Suzanne) and Linda Holmes, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Norma was born and raised in Sylacauga, Alabama. She was a proud graduate of B.B. Comer High School. She loved her family and friends and was continuously there to support them. An avid sports fan, she was always eager to shout out a “War Eagle!”. In her younger days, she was a champion bowler, expert quilter and frequent singer with a beautiful voice which she loved to join in harmony with her beloved sister.

Norma will be laid to rest during a graveside service at Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga on Thursday, April 25th at 2:00 p.m.
