Marcie Celeste Horton

A visitation for Marcie will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home. Following will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Hickman will be officiating services.

She was proceeded in death by her loving Father Edgar H. Sugg, Jr. and her loving husband and soulmate Michael Thomas “Hawkeye” Horton.

She is survived by her beloved and adored sons, James Brandon Sugg (Tiffany) and their three precious daughters Allana (Mae), Rockie, and Lilly; Joshua Wood (Jessica) and future grandson Isaac Jason wood; Robert Daniel Wood (Pommy) and son Patch; Leigh Ann Hanley (Shane) and sons Skeets and Cody Conley, and Hunter Saffold; as well as many great grandchildren; her loving mother, Gloria Daughtry Perkins, beloved brother Ed Sugg (Keri) and three sons Ryan, Cory, and Spencer; dearest sister Amy Rutledge (Eric) and twins Abigail & Austin.

Marcie was very artistic and loved her bead art, crocheting, candle making and pottery. She loved gardening and she had a green thumb. She was a wonderful cook. She loved the Lord. She was a devoted wife, loving Mother and Grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
