Sylacauga, AL - Laurie Scarcella Andrijeski died Wednesday, June 9th at her home in Sylacauga, AL. She is survived by her husband, Greg Andrijeski; her daughter, Adrienne Scarcella; her grandchildren, Gabriella Farmer and Giahni Maldonado; her father, Dr. Jim V. Scarcella; her sister, Kathleen Scarcella; and her step-sister, Sharon Scarcella Snyder. Proceeded in death by her mother Charlotte Scarcella and her grandparents Charlies and Tessie Padjen.
Laurie was raised in Cleveland, OH, where she earned her undergraduate degree at Cleveland State University and her Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University in 1990. She was a member of the Bar Associations and practiced criminal law in Tennessee, Idaho, Washington, and Alabama. Her respect for the institution and her client's well-being was always paramount to her practice. She will be greatly missed by all who had the benefit of knowing her and experiencing the crazy brilliance she brought to everything she did.
She will be laid to rest with her family on Wednesday, June 23rd at St. Mary Czestochowa Polish Cemetery in McKeesport, PA.
