Loved Mr. and Mrs. Salter.  When my daughter was in elementary school, we would see them at Hardees (many years ago) in the mornings,  and they were always smiling and kind to her.  Such a lovely couple.  Pray that God will comfort your family with sweet memories.

Mrs. Salter was a sweet and gentle Christian woman. When we were young members at Five Points Baptist Church, she, Bro. Jessie and her family were very involved in church activities. I enjoyed worshipping with her at FBC and visiting from time to time at Spring Terrace.  Please be comforted by your own sweet memories.

Mrs. Salter’s sweet and gentle spirit will be a part of her that will always be remembered. I looked forward to visiting with her at Spring Terrace and have been saddened those visits were  not possible in the past months. I know she is so happy to be reunited with her daughter, and her husband, and other family and friends she has missed who left for heaven before her- and finally to be home with Jesus. My prayers are with her family as they grieve and I pray they are comforted by sweet memories and the knowledge she is at peace. 

I am so sorry for your loss.  I came to Spring Terrace to visit with FBC members and those that wanted to join us once a month. The last time I saw Mrs. Salter was in her room and we had a very enjoyable visit. Such a sweet lady and Christian.  I talked to her on the phone before thanksgiving when she was planning to go and visit with her family. Such good memories of her.  I am sad to lose her as a friend but I also know she is in a heavenly place. Prayers to all the family.

I always loved Aunt Lallouise, and always thought she was so elegent and Beautiful,  I wish we could have seen more of her and Uncle Jessy , my mother's brother , My mother loved him so much,  Life is just so short, we live so far away from our family for work  and other reasons, The last time I was with him he said he wished he had spent more time with his sisters,  I pray God will give you all Peace and understanding, that this life is but a vapor, one day we will see him and all our loved ones again,

Randy, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. My memory of her was that she was  a very sweet lady,  And when all of you came down to Monroe County it was a holiday for us all. Your mama shared many of Sherry’s pretty dresses that she had outgrown but for me they were like new.  What a comfort to know we will see her again along with Jesse and Sherry. Our sweet mama passed away May 24th of 2014 and Daddy on Dec.13th of 2020. We have so many and so much waiting on the other side.
