Sylacauga, AL. - Janis Elaine Taylor, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
Elaine is survived by her two sisters, Joyce Collins, June Sasser; her two nieces, Kim Bagwell (Chris), Rachael Matherson (Ricky Jr.); her four great nephews, Shane Bagwell (Kelsey), Taylor Bagwell, Joe Sasser, Noah Sasser; her great great nephew, Sterling Bagwell; and a host of cousins and friends.
Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Frank Taylor; her mother, Isabell Taylor; her brother-in-law, Chuck Collins, brother-in-law, Henry Sasser; and her grandparents.
She loved her family and friends dearly. The family wants to express their deepest thanks to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice group, Rev. Doug Williams, and Crooked Creek Independent Baptist Church. A special thanks to Revonda Bradford.
The family will have a memorial service Friday, August 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Crooked Creek Independent Baptist Church, 206 W 9th St, Sylacauga, AL 35150 with Bro. Doug Williams officiating.
