Hicks Burton Friday, age 89, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025.

H.B. is survived by his wife, Janie Friday; his daughter Reba Friday Hill; his grandson Jordan Hill (Cody), his grandson Joey Hill, his granddaughter Jaci Kate Hill and his great grandchildren Jasper, Riley, Baylor, Hattie, Harbor, and Evie.

He was preceded in death by his son Keith Friday and his son-in-law Craig Hill; his brother Joe Friday and his sister Annice Leach.

A visitation for H.B. will be held Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home. Following the visitation will be a Graveside at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Mack McCaleb officiating.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in H.B.'s memory may be made to Sylacauga Animal Shelter.
