Mr. George Earnest Armstrong, age 93, of Sylacauga, died May 27, 2011 at UAB Hospital. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Armstrong, and a son, Charles Armstrong. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Ashworth (Ray) of Sylacauga; grandsons, B.J. Horton of Sylacauga, AL and Bobby Horton of Sylacauga; and niece, Elizabeth Black of Jasper. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Curtis and Son Funeral Home's North Chapel from 10 until 11 a.m. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel with the Reverend David Kemp officiating. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper, AL.
