Eunice Thomas

Eunice Martin Thomas of Sylacauga, age 98, passed away November 23, 2019. She is survived by her son, Ken Thomas, daughter, Joyce T. Palmer, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, James “Jim” Martin and Nancy Robinson Martin, two sisters, and four brothers. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Curtis and Son North Chapel, at 11am, with a visitation from 10am until 11am. Pastor Jim Garrett will officiate. Mrs. Thomas was born and raised in Coosa County Alabama. She was a hairdresser for 70 years in Sylacauga and owner and operator of her own shop for most of that time. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother that loved her work, flowers, and gardening. She would do anything for you, and loved everybody. The family would like to give a big thank you to Amedisys Hospice of Sylacauga for their help, caring, and kindness.
