Charles Oliver White

Childersburg, AL - Funeral service for Charles Oliver White, 84, will be Friday, October 14, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Cary Brown officiating.  Burial will be in Talladega Springs Cemetery in Talladega Springs, AL.

Mr. White passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Houston Oman White and Minnie Lou White; brother, Bloyse White; sister, Jewel Morris; sister, Louise Holloway; and brother, Carson Oneal White. Mr. White was a Certified Ford Technician at Collins Ford for 17 years. He also served the City of Sylacauga as a firefighter for 22 years where he later retired.

Mr. White is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jo Ann White; two sisters, Mavis Pinkard and Elsie Arnett; son, Rudy White wife Joyce; daughter, Ann White; son,  Tony White wife Ginger; daughter, Lisa Kelley husband Larry; daughter, Wendy Fix husband Ken; son, Chris White wife Shea; eight grandchildren, Matt White, Ryan White Northcutt, Danny Bassett, Adam Bassett, Rachael Grier, Chad  Pearson, Kayla Fix, Blake Fix, Ella Grace; fifteen great-grandchildren, Gunner, Brooks, Lainey, Reid, Ella, Alex, Landyn, Brynlee, Anna Grace, Tyson, Caleigh, Hadley, Ashlynn, Kayden, and Kennedy.

Visitation will be Friday, October 14, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice for all of their care and help.

Pallbearers will be Rudy White, Matt White, Tony White, Chris White, Ken Fix, and Mark Northcutt.
