Born and raised in Weogufka/Mt. Moriah area and graduated from weogufka high school in 1972.
After graduating he started work with Tess Electric where he was a machinist until he retired.
Charles was chief of County Line VFD and was a volunteer fireman for Stewartville VFD for many years.
His greatest love was for his mama, his kids and grandkids and family in general.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and loved tinkering and building things.
His gardening skills was always on point.

A visitation for Charles will be held Friday, October 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home. Charles will be laid to rest in Mount Moriah Cemetery. All services will be officiated by Deacon Reuben Collins Jr.
