Charles Raymond Epperson

Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Charles Raymond Epperson, 84, will be Monday, February 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Donald Grice officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.

Mr. Epperson died Friday, January 29, 2021 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara H Epperson, parents, William H. Epperson and Cora Lee McSheridan, 1 sister, several brothers, 3 daughters, and 3 grandsons. Mr. Epperson was a member of Unity Freewill Baptist Church. He was retired from Avondale Mills after many years and he served in the National Guard.

He is survived by son, Marshall Chandler; daughter, Misti Chandler Payne; eight grandchildren, Chris Hill, Daniel Hill, Jason Griffith, Michael Griffith, Dakota Pelfrey, Morgan Whetstone, Tiara Chandler Clifton, Aaron Chandler; and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
