Billy H. Murphy

Billy is survived by his wife, Julia Murphy; his sons Calvin Richard Murphy (Anna) and Billy Joe Murphy; his daughters Sharon Louise Cotton (Wayne), Debra Ann Smith (Rickey), and Lisa Laverne McGrady (Barry); his brother Donald Gene Murphy (Gloria), his sisters Penny Jacobs and Peggy Wideman; his grandchildren Bradley Jason Murphy, Winter Nicole Cotton, Misty Dawn Cotton, Michael Eugene Smith (Susie), Crystal Diane Hilton (Jason), Brittney Sellers, Kailey Wilson (Travis), Cameron Mims, Anthony Lane McGrady (Haley), Elisabeth McGrady Roberts (Thomas), Emma Michelle McGrady, Anderson Cole McGrady and Billy Calvin Murphy (Kelsie), his 29 Great Grandchildren, and his 12 Great Great Grandchildren.

Billy was preceded in death by his father Calvin Elect Murphy and his mother Lula Brewer Murphy; his brothers Bobby Joe Murphy, Clyde Murphy and Jimmy Murphy; his grandchildren Kasy Murphy, Erin Grace McGrady, and Andrew Blake McGrady.

A visitation for Billy will be held Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will occur Monday, June 10, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home. Billy will be laid to rest in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. All services will be officiated by Rev. Mike Owen.

Serving as pallbearers are Jason Hilton, Billy C. Murphy, Travis Wilson, Anthony McGrady, Anderson McGrady, Thomas Roberts, Michael Smith, Cameron Mims and Jason Murphy.
