Ms. Betty Morris Floyd, age 78 of Sylacauga, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Coosa Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Deason officiating. Burial will follow at Fayetteville Methodist Cemetery. Ms. Floyd is survived by three sons; Charles Morris (Sherry), David Floyd (Wendy) and Gary Floyd (Lisa); one daughter, Teresa Wesson (Dennis); four brothers, Bill Morris, Jack Morris, R.L. Morris, and Wayne Morris; one sister, Eunice Martin; (8) Grandchildren, (9) great grandchildren and is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Ms. Floyd was preceded in death by her parents Kelly and Olivia Morris, brothers, Doug Morris and Oliver Morris. She was a longtime member of Westview Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Ryan Floyd, Chad Nichols, Eric Nichols, Matt Floyd, Daniel Richards and Larry Martin Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 13 from 5-8 at Curtis and Son Funeral Home.
