Barbara Ruth Hatchett Brewer

Barbara Ruth Hatchett Brewer “Little Momma”, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on December 26, 2015. She attended B.B. Comer High School and graduated with honors in 1961. She also went to the Sylacauga Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1964. She worked as an R.N. at Sylacauga Hospital until 1968. She loved going to church and she loved her family. She always had a smile no matter what life threw her way. Her smile could light up a room.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Brewer, her parents Clyde and Willie Mae Hatchett, brother Benny Wayne Hatchett.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Brewer of Sylacauga; grandson, Nate Brewer of Sylacauga; brother, Mike Hatchett and wife Deb of Bessemer and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 29 at 2:00 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Deason and Rev. Wayne McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Fayetteville Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, December 28 from 5-8. . Pallbearers will be Mark Arnold, Robbie Richardson, Rudy Giles, Jonathan Brewer, Wayne Hatchett and Bobby Hatchett.
