Anne W. Taylor, age 77, of Hoover, Alabama passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. Anne was born December 3, 1943. A graveside will occur at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Anne is survived by her husband, Tim Taylor; son William Andrew Taylor; nephews William E. Williams III and Steven Wesley Williams (Lia). Anne was preceded in death by twin brother William E. Williams Jr. and niece Amanda Grace Taylor Watson. Anne was born in Birmingham and moved to Sylacauga as a child. Upon graduation from Sylacauga High School, Anne attended Auburn University were she graduated BA in Education. While at Auburn, she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Fraternity, Mortar Board and Who’s Who in Colleges and Universities. After graduation Anne taught elementary school in Atlanta and Birmingham. She married Tim in 1972, they adopted Andy in 1979, and have lived in the Hoover community ever since. Anne loved her church family and neighbors very much. At Oakmont Chapel Presbyterian Church, she served as Elder, Sunday School Teacher and Youth Advisor. She loves the Lord and Emmaus Community. She was loved by Family and many friends and will be greatly missed. Anne was recently honored by her classmates with a contribution and Chair to Sylacauga City Schools Foundation.
