Talladega, AL - Funeral service for Alton Junior Cox, 72, will be Friday, December 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Radney-Smith Chapel with Bro. Donald Grice officiating. Burial will be in Fayetteville Methodist Cemetery in Fayetteville, AL.
Mr. Cox died Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Lee Cox, Sr.; mother, Lois Cox; brother, Noble Cox; brother, Ed Cox; brother, Gene Cox; sister, Evelyn Wesson; and sister, Mae Herman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lucille Cox; son, Michael Cox; four grandchildren, Brandon Cox, Matthew Cox, Brandi Cox, and Mark Hay; four sisters, Orene Hammonds, Jane Carter, Clara Etress, and Jesse Lynn Ferguson; three brothers, Jesse Cox, Robert Cox, and Arthur Lee Cox, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, December 22, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
