Alton Neill Clifton

Hollins, AL. - Alton Neill Clifton, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

Alton is survived by his sister, Carolyn Parnell (Ron); brother, Harold Frazier Clifton (Charlotte); sister-in-law, Lucy Clifton; brother-in-law, Roy Smith; and a host of loving nieces and nephews .

Alton was preceded in death by his parents, Stonewall and Grace Clifton; two brothers, Blois Clifton, Harlin Clifton; sister, Debbie C. Smith; nephew, Adam Frazier Milam; and niece, Donna C. Fields.

Alton was a caregiver for his mother. He was a kind, sweet person loved by everyone that knew him.

He was a hard worker. Alton's family called him the "walking encyclopedia", he could remember anything he saw or read.

Alton attended church at Hollins Church of Christ. He was a very faithful member.

A graveside service for Alton will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Family Cemetery, Chapman Road, Hollins, AL.
