Shara Lynn Bernard, 35 of Whycocomagh formerly of Eskasoni passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at home. Born in Sydney she was the daughter of Karen Ann (Stephen) Paul of Eskasoni and Kenneth ‘Kennis’ Paul, Eskasoni.

She was a member of Holy Family Parish, Eskasoni. Shara Lynnwas always well loved by her family and friends and treasured her children above all.

She is survived by daughter, Breanna Peck, Eskasoni; sons, Aaron Elvis Peck, Eskasoni ; Tyler Peck and Branden Peck, both of Nyanza; sister, Brittany Paul, Eskasoni; brothers, Elton Bernard, Aaron Paul, Christopher Paul, and Nathan Toney, all of Eskasoni; maternal grandparents, John James and Catherine Bernard, Eskasoni.

Visitation for Ms. Bernard will be held after 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 5 at 236 Shore Rd (John J. Bernard residence). Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 7 at Holy Family Church, Eskasoni, Rev Martin MacDougall will officiate, interment in parish cemetery.
