Parnell Robert Donovan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother, uncle, great uncle and friend Parnell Robert Donovan on June 12, 2021 at the Glace Bay Hospital 4 North, with his baby sister Susan MacDonald and brother Richard Donovan by his side.

He is survived by his son Robert Neve and 3 grandchildren of Dartmouth, NS, , his siblings Richard Donovan, Michael Donovan (Crystal) of Halifax, Jack Donovan (Tracy) of New Brunswick, baby sister Susan MacDonald and her family to whom he was very close. As well as 3 great nieces and 1 great nephew many friends and the family of the late Rosemary Wall (his companion for over 30 years).

Besides his friend Rosemary, Parnell was also predeceased by his father Clifford Donovan, his mother Yvonne Donovan, brother Kippy and 2 sisters Deborah Donovan and Annette Falt.

Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at TW Curry Parkview Chapel and will be livestreamed via TW Curry’s Facebook page starting at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 17, 2021.
