Mr. John Jack Hugh Cusack

74 – Sydney

John Hugh Cusack, 74 of Ashby, passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.

Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Richard and Mamie (Holmes) Cusack.

Jack retired from Co-Op Atlantic in 1999 after many years service working in shipping and receiving.

He is survived by his daughter Francine (Phil) MacKenzie and family Daniel and David of Fall River; son Mike (Margaret) and family Michael, Allison and Natasha, Sydney; great grandson Michael; sister Beverley (Charlie) MacLean, Cambridge, Ontario; brother Darrell (Julie), Fall River, his wife Mary H. “Eileen” Cusack and also by his nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother Bill and a sister Elaine.

Visitation for the late Mr. Cusack will take place on Friday from 7-9 p.m. at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.at St. Theresa’s Church with Rev. Jim Oliver officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
