Florence Jessie Taylor

Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Martina (McMullin) MacDonald.

Florence was a graduate of Holy Angel Convent High School (1951) and Mount Saint Bernard College (1952). She was a member of Saint Anthony Daniel Parish and later Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys, Sydney. She was a lifetime member of the CWL.

Florence is survived by her six children. Sander; his wife Bernadette (Bisson) and children Liam and Meghan (Arthur Morrison), Northside East Bay. Michelle, Sydney. Brian; his wife Sandra (Martheleur) and children, Kaitlyn (Nick Asquini) and Melissa, Toronto, Ont. Michael; his wife Wanda (Page) and children, Ryan and Emilee. Shelburne. Patricia; her husband Greg (Keagan) and children, Morgan, Ainsley, Erin and Ian, Lantz. Janice; her husband Robert (MacIsaac) and children Dylan, Joshua and Sarah Alexandra ‘Alex’, Elmsdale.

Florence was predeceased by her husband Charles in 2006.

Visitation will take place at T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel on Monday, July 22, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, with Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church on Tuesday, July 23 at 11:00 am with Fr. Bill Burke officiating.
