Darlene Marie Marshall

It is with a deep sadness that we announce the passing on March 29, 2025, of our beloved mother, sister, daughter and aunt Darlene Marie Marshall at 39 years of age. Darlene was the daughter of Annie Catherine Marshall and mother to her son Triscom and her daughter/niece Ella, whom she raised. She will also be missed by her sister Angeline Theresa Marshall, uncles Joseph, Noel, Patrick and Albert Marshall, aunt Marie Marshall, her godchildren Priya Marshall, CJ Clair, Ella Marshall and Zachery Marshall along with other extended family and friends including her best friends Lynzie Sampson and Twila Gould.

For Darlene, her family was most important to her. She was known as a "mother Bear", so you better not mess with any of her family. She loved watching her son compete for the Red Tribe Boxing Club, hanging out around the house, watching Alf on TV or wrestling Triscon for the last TV Dinner.

Darlene was predeceased by her grandparents Abraham and Mary Jane Marshall, uncles Steve, Alfred and Shane Marshall, aunt Marion Lena Marshall and godparents Lawrence "DeeDum" and Cora Dennis Marshall.

A visitation will be held at the Gabriel Centre in Eskasoni starting at 7pm on Monday, April 7 with a Funeral Mass at 10:30am on Wednesday, April 9th from Holy Family Catholic Church, 50 Gabriel Street, Eskasoni.
