We the family of the late Dale Clifford Young "Lone Wolf" are saddened to announce his passing on August 20th at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital at 42 years of age while being surrounded by the love of all of his family. Dale will be deeply missed by his long time partner Marty Johnson and his mother Melinda Young. He is also survived by siblings Richard "Buddy" (Lisa), Charlton (Danielle), Gabrielle, Reginald (Justine Gould) and Marihanna, godchildren Caroline and Brielle as well as in-laws Gerard and Regina Johnson.
Dale was predeceased by his father Reginald "Gubby" and grandparents Charlie and Caroline Young and Noel and Sarah Denny and niece Acen Gould.
Dale was a hard worker with a kind heart who was willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Never shying away from hard work, he enjoyed gardening, landscaping, carpentry, logging and fishing. He worked tirelessly to improve his community and the lives of those around him.
A wake will take place at the Gabriel Centre in Eskasoni starting at 7pm on Thursday, September 5th with a Funeral Mass being held at 10:00am on Saturday, September 7th at Holy Family Church, 50 Gabriel St., Eskasoni.
