She was surrounded by family when she passed away at Cape Breton Regional Hospital September 28, 2023.
Beverly was the daughter of Mary Ann Rose and Robert Rose both predeceased her.
Beverly worked hard, raising 4 children as a homemaker. She was also a foster mom to many children whom she loved as if they were her own children. She could often be found at the Membertou gaming facilities and was also a well-known crafter.
Beverly will be dearly missed by her four children George Woodberry/Delores Fitzgerald and 7 grandsons. Diane/Dennis Hartigan 2 granddaughters 1 grandson Angela Woodberry/Allen MacLoud 1 grandson, Brian Marshall 2 granddaughters, and 4 great grandchildren.
Her loving siblings Mary Ann Paul (Melody) and family, William Rose and family, Danielle Rose/Gould and family, Christopher Rose and family, Steven Rose Sr. and family and her God children Danielle (Miss Yevette) Paul, Anna Paul as well as the Simon family in Eskasoni.
Her beloved granddaughter Destiny Woodberry was her best friend/caretaker.
Beverly is predeceased by both her parents Mary Ann Rose and Robert Rose, her two brothers Robert (Midgie) Rose and Thomas Rose, her Godson Stephen Rose Jr.
Beverly Marshall's wake will take place in her home at 46 Bradley Street in Membertou starting on October 2nd after 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Oct 4th at 11am at St. Marguerite Bourgeois Church in Sydney, with Fr. Bill Burke officiating.
