Benjamin Poulette

Benjamin Poulette, age 84 of 5288 Mountain Rd, Eskasoni, passed away peacefully at CBRH. Born in Whycocomagh. He was the son of the late Stephen Poulette and Ann Madeline Poulette-Bernard and Step-father Roderick Bernard.

Ben enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing TV bingo and card games! He also loved being a lumberjack and watching hockey. He was the honorary Mountain Road Neighbourhood Watch.

Ben is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary Bridget Poulette, by his children Benjamin Andrew, Margaret Rose (John I), Mary Agnes Toney (Ruben), Alexandrine (Bart), Stephen (Marie Ann) and Nancy Mae (Bob), by grandchildren; Jenna, Denelle, Karissa, Arianna, Chelsea, and Chloe, brothers; Levi, Howard, and Maynard (Gina), sisters; Martha Brooks, Nancy Sylliboy (Jr.), sisters-in-law; Joanne, Margaret, Madeline, Mildred Poulette, godchildren; Beverly Herney, Eric Marshall. Pamela Poulette and Quentin Poulette.

He is predeceased by his parents and by siblings; Charlie, Francis, Walter, David Poulette, Betty Paul, Rosie Marshall, Eugene (Infancy) and Nancy Mae (Infancy), brothers-in-law Mike Paul and Hoss Marshall, sisters-in-law Jean, Elizabeth, and Judina and 4 grandchildren in infancy.

A visitation will take place at 5288 Mountain Rd, Eskasoni, after 7 pm on Tuesday June 14, 2022, a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church on Thursday June 16, 2022 at 10:30 am, with Fr. Antolin Asor officiating. A burial and Salite will follow service.
