It is with sadness of heart that we announce the unexpected passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend Basil Broderick Paul who passed away at his residence in Windsor, Ontario on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Born to the late Roderick Marshall and Mary Margaret Cremo on June 7, 1966. Basil grew up with his large extended family in Eskasoni before moving to Ontario where he worked as a truck driver, and a very talented carpenter. He was always the life of the party. Basil was also known for his stone carvings, which he shared with many. Basil's greatest blessings in life were his children, grandchildren and great grandsons.
Basil was predeceased by one son Basil Broderick Jr., his siblings Stephen Paul and Leonard, Peter and Daniel Marshall and Mary Ellen MacLean.
Basil is survived and will be missed by his daughters Tiffany Battiste (John), Khrishna Paul (Jeffrey) and Emma Semande, ON, and son Thomas J. Paul, and step son John Robert Doucette, grandchildren Acha, JD, Joslyn, Rekae and Sarah, great grandchildren Jude and Denzel as well as brothers Wilfred, Allister and Alfred, sisters Mildred Poulette, Elizabeth Doucette, Bridget Paul (Bobby) and Gloria Paul, his god child Mis’el Paul and special friend Cindy.
