Annette, the matriarch of her family, dedicated 38 years of her life to providing comfort, compassion, and care to her community through her work in social development. Her love for her work and compassionate nature made a lasting impact on the community. She'll be deeply missed by coworkers and all those whose lives she touched. Annette cherished her family, and best friends, and enjoyed drives through the countryside. She also had a passion for fishing, travelling, and camping, especially in Malagawatch, or as she fondly referred to it, "Mala." Her dedication to preserving the community and recognizing its cultural significance was evident in her love for Mala. Annette's culinary skills were top-notch, and she loved sharing her meal preparation and baking adventures on Facebook. Her delicious creations always left everyone craving for more! Annette was also known for her unwavering support of the community, whether it was through ticket sales, bake sales, yard sales, Facebook bingos, or generously giving from her cupboards to those in need.
Her family would like to thank Dr. Todd, VON nurses, Eskasoni Health Centre, and palliative care for their exceptional help. In her last days, Annette was surrounded by her loving family and friends.
