With sadness, the family announce the passing of Anna Mary Barrett at the Glace Bay Hospital on Saturday, November 5, 2011.

Born in Lourdes, Newfoundland, she was the daughter of the late John Archibald MacIsaac of Grand River and Annie (Young) Lejeune of Clam Bank Cove, Newfoundland. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a life-long member of Holy Redeemer Church in Whitney Pier.

She was predeceased by her husband Victor Laurier Barrett, sons Wayne (the late Karen Hawco), Robert (the late Theresa Martin), daughter-in-law Barbara Kane Barrett, grandchildren Deanna, Robert, and Susan Barrett, Paul Warner; two sisters, Sarah Hynes and Angela Sweeney, and five brothers, John, Alexander, Hugh, William, Daniel, and Angus.

Surviving are sons Donald (Tish), Dennis (Viola), Ross (Valerie); daughters Mary (the late Charles Warner), Diane (John) MacDonald, daughter-in-law Gloria Barrett, as well as 19 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
