Dad worked at the various mines for 50 years until his retirement. Dad loved his Bingo and his time spent at his cabin in Sugar Loaf where you would find him playing horseshoes; he could be found with his fishing Rod in hand, or playing a good ol’ game of cards, or just having a laugh with our cabin family.
Visitation will be from 7-9pm on Sunday July 1, 2018 at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, 8 Clyde Ave, Sydney Mines. A graveside service will be on Monday at 10am in Brookside Cemetery with Rev. Stacey LeMoine officiating. If desired donations may be made in Bill’s memory to a charity of one’s choice. Expressions of sympathy can be forwarded to family by visiting www.fillmoreandwhitman.com.
At this time the family would like to thank the staff of the Northside Community Guest Home, especially the staff at Cara House for the care and compassion you gave our Dad.
