Tina Costello (Cunningham), age 68, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 7, 2017. She was the wife of Michael Costello. Born in Framingham, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Catherine (McDonough) Cunningham, she was a longtime resident of Swansea.
Tina worked in Retail Management for over 25 years before retiring in 2004. A true history buff, she enjoyed doing Revolutionary War reenactments all over the New England area. A member of the Swansea Garden Club and Prudence Island Quilting Club she also volunteered giving tours at the Martin Farm Museum. She enjoyed public gardens and the beaches of Cape Cod and Nantucket.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Kelly Powers of Warren, RI and Katy Costello of Riverside, RI; seven grandchildren, Mary Catherine E. Powers, Corbin M. Dwyer, Molly M. Powers, Cash E.T. Dwyer, Leo F. Powers, Kayla M. Silva and Haylee J. Silva; and two nephews, Matthew Costello and Kevin Costello, M.D. She was the mother of the late Stephen C. Staples and sister of the late Michael E. Cunningham.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 12:00 PM in First United Methodist Church, 25 Church St., Warren, RI.
