Theresa M. Correia

She was the beloved wife of Keith J. Correia, the love of her life and soul mate to whom she had been married to for 43 years.

Born and raised in East Providence she was the daughter of Joseph Silveira Jr and Constance (Vargas) Silveira.

She was a cherished daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Besides her devoted husband and parents, she is survived by four daughters, Jenna L. Correia and her partner Richard Keene, III, Megan E. Munroe and her husband Donald, Chelsea R. Lindberg and her husband Matthew and Lauren N. Letellier and her husband Andrew, all of Seekonk; two sisters, Patricia Whalen and her husband Edward of Seekonk and Kathline Levesque of East Providence; six grandchildren, Kayden, Emma, Bryce, Max, Leighton and Luke with three granddaughters on the way; mother-in-law, Lorraine Correia of East Providence; sister-in-law Lorie Bernier and her husband Stephen of Swansea as well as several nieces and a nephew.

Theresa worked at East Providence Housing Authority for 16 years where she was the Executive Director for 10 years. She took pride in her career and cherished her friendships she had with her co-workers.

Terry loved chasing sunsets and spending summer days on the beaches of Cape and Narragansett. She loved breakfast on Sunday mornings with her grandchildren. She enjoyed road trips to New Hampshire with her husband and family trips to Disney. The most cherished part of her life was her family and close friends.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 9:00 am from the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd, Swansea followed by a Mass at 10:30 am in St. Francis of Xavier Church, 81 N Carpenter St, East Providence, RI. Her Visitation will be Monday from 4:00-8:00 PM. Due to current occupancy restrictions, please be mindful that guests may have to wait outside while others pay their respects. Burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Relatives and friends are invited.
