Born in Fall River, a son of the late Edward and Mary (Cardoza) Levesque, he lived in Swansea for many years and was a graduate of Joseph Case High School.
He was a pipefitter in the ship manufacturing industry for many years and worked at Gladding-Hearn Shipbuilding in Somerset. Always active and full of life, he enjoyed playing horseshoes and his guitar. He was a huge sports fan and loved to cheer on the New England Patriots.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Kelli Levesque DaSilva of Fall River; one granddaughter, Mikayla Correia; one great-grandson, Julian Oliveiro; five siblings, Jane Levesque of Swansea, Edward Levesque and his wife Sheila, Sharon Faggioli and her husband Nicholas, Patricia Duquette all of Fall River, Bruce Levesque and his wife Christina of Swansea and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Donna and Donald Levesque.
His Funeral will be on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 9:00AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Dominic’s Church, 1277 G.A.R. Highway, Swansea. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00PM. Contributions in his honor may be made to Southcoast V.N.A. Hospice, 200 Mill Rd., Fairhaven, MA 02719 or to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, 1500 Rosecrans Ave., Suite 200, Manhattan Beach, CA 90266. Burial private.
