Born in Fall River, a son of the late Matthew and Anna (Rezestar) Bik, he had resided in Castle Court in Fall River for many years before moving to Somerset.
Mr. Bik was a United States Army Veteran having served during World War II. He served as an interpreter while stationed in Germany.
He worked as a compounder at Firestone Rubber and Tire in Fall River for 22 years then worked as a custodian at the Catholic Memorial Home for 8 years.
He was a member of the AMVET and VFW and enjoyed playing the horses and cards at Foxwoods Casino.
Survivors include his nieces, Anne McGillick McMahon of Alexandria, VA and Madeline Thomas of Swansea; nephews, Paul Zmigrosky of Frisco, TX and Steve Zmigrosky of Pittsburgh, PA. He was the brother of the late John Bik, Mary Bik McGillick, Amelia Bik Zmigrosky, Rose Bik and Julia Bik Thomas.
