Lois M. Whalen

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Andrew L. and Irene (Melvin) Fitzpatrick. In addition to being a homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and dining out with family and friends. Mrs. Whalen was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church.

She is survived by one son, Edward Whalen Jr., and his wife Judy of Swansea; two daughters, Jane Gregory and her husband Jeffrey of Fall River, Mary Kate Plante of Swansea; one brother Andrew Fitzpatrick of Pennfield, NY; five grandchildren, Sarah Bouvier and her husband Doug, Jeffrey Gregory, Jr., Tricia Rodrigues and her husband Alan, Matthew Plante and Edward Plante; two great-grandchildren, Emma and Henry and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Healy.
