She was the wife of Marc Delille who selflessly stood by her side during her most challenging times. Lindsey’s greatest joy was being a mother. Her son Grey, 6 was the source of all her strength, her fight, and her love. She was most proud of giving him a brother to share his childhood and share her love; miraculously giving birth to her son Elijah, 2 during active cancer treatment. She brought life to every circumstance, every inconvenience was an opportunity. She was an amazing mother, a devoted daughter, and a cherished friend. Her mother Jennifer (Sorel) Dos Anjos was the greatest influence on her life, she credited everything wonderful about herself to the way she was raised and supported.
Survived by her step father Tony Dos Anjos, her siblings: Andrew, Seth, Hayley, Samantha, Reilly, Nicolas, and Cole. Her siblings allowed her to hold the esteemed title of Auntie. She gave so much of herself loving her niece, Amori, who she saw as more of a daughter and nephew Mason. She was the greatest, and any of her nieces and nephews will tell you, survived also by Dakota, Jack, Conner, Pamela and Finley.
Lindsey’s life was always full, she never let her diagnoses slow her down. She continued her love of traveling, shopping, and driving her Jeep with the top down, with her dog Spanky in tow, to the very end. She always found solace at the beach or the barn. Her love for all things beach house and love for all animals has translated to every child she has a hand in raising. She rode her horse until she couldn’t, then made sure there was a pony for her children to ride.
She proudly worked as a nurse and treated her patients with compassion and professionalism. Her life has been an inspiration to all who have known her, and even those who have found strength in her incredible story and the courageous journey she made. She was forever grateful for her “village” that provided endless support through texts, calls, meals, rides, babysitting, donations, and some days just sitting and talking. The list could go on forever.
Lindsey’s death is a tragedy but her life was a miracle to all who knew her and loved her. She is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who became family from every part of her life that was too short but incredibly full.
