Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William and Lorraine (Marchard) Noons, she had been a longtime resident of Swansea.
A graduate of Dighton Rehoboth Regional High School, Class of 1970, she worked as an Administrative Assistant at Bristol Tape Corporation in Fall River for over thirty years.
An avid reader, she always enjoyed a good book and watching her favorite movies on the Hallmark channel. She loved taking trips to Newport and being by the ocean. Her most enjoyable times were spent with her family especially her grandson who she adored.
She is survived by two sons, Jared Duarte and his girlfriend Erin Orchard of Franklin, Nathan Duarte and his wife Gina; three sisters, Carol Patenaude and her husband Daniel of Warren, Diane Souza and her husband Jeff of Swansea, Nancy Chantre and her husband Paul of East Providence; one brother, William Noons and his wife Melissa of Dighton; one grandson, Jack Duarte and many nieces and nephews.
Her Visitation will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea with a service to be held at 5:00PM. Relatives and friends invited. Contributions in her honor may be made to the American Cancer Society, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. Burial private.
