Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Beaulieu) Gamache, she had been a resident of Swansea for over 50 years.
Mrs. McGee was a Machine Operator at various textile mills in Fall River for over 20 years retiring in 1982. She enjoyed gardening and taking photos.
She is survived by three sons, Norman McGee Jr. and his wife Brenda of Somerset, George McGee and his wife Shirley of Rehoboth, Arthur McGee and his wife Robin of Somerset, two daughters Jeannette Powell and her husband William of Conway, AR and Maureen Wallace and her husband Timothy of Swansea, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was mother of the late Paul McGee and sister of the late Oliver, Edward and Leo Gamache and Blanche Berube.
Her Funeral will be held Friday, May 14, 2010 at 10:00 AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM in St. Dominic’s Church, 1277 G.A.R. Highway, Swansea. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 5-8PM. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
