Harry Moran, age 89, of Dighton died peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on September 30, 2013. He was the husband of the late Mary (Silvia) Moran.
Born in Blackstone, MA a son of Spiro and Elena (Gaci) Moran, he spent his youth in Blackstone and lived in Swansea for many years, moving to Dighton four years ago.
Mr. Moran was a disabled Veteran having served in the US Army with the 166 combat engineers in World War II. He enjoyed bowling with several leagues at the Dudek Bowling Alley in Warren and ballroom dancing at the Roseland in Taunton.
Surviving: several nieces including Loretta Marschner and his many friends including: Jay Arruda of Swansea and Debbie Lepage of Dighton. He was predeaceased by two brothers and two sisters.
His funeral will be held Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 10 AM in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Rd. Swansea. Relatives and friends invited.
