Born in Brockton, a son of Jean (Getchell) Landry of Swansea and the late George A. Landry Jr., he had been a lifelong resident of Fall River.
He was a graduate of Bristol County Agricultural High School and worked as a carpenter for many years.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, George A. Landry IV; four sisters, Joan Landry and Cheryl Newman both of Swansea, Donna Pelletier and Karen Reis both of Fall River; five brothers, Donald Reid of Carver, Steven Reid of Dedham, John Landry of Somerset, Thomas and William Landry both of Fall River; one granddaughter, Harper Landry and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Kelly Landry.
His Funeral will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10:00AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. Relatives and friends invited. His visitation will be held prior to his service from 9:00 to 10:00AM. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fall River.
