Born in Fall River, she was the beloved daughter of May E. (Farley) Coelho of Swansea and Kenneth A. Coelho, Sr. of Cranston. Gail was a dedicated member of the Wampanoag Tribe Association, where she was honored with the name "Moonflower." She spent many years as a scheduler at Somerset Ridge Center, where her warm heart and willingness to help others left a lasting impression.
Known for her generosity, Gail was always ready to lend a hand, no matter the size of the task. She cherished attending Oz Fest each year, a tradition she loved. In her spare time, she enjoyed tattoos, swimming, river tubing, long car rides, and spending time outdoors. She was especially fond of her dogs, Betsy and Nova, and held her family and friends close to her heart.
In addition to her parents, Gail is survived by her sister, Lisa Coelho of Swansea; her brother, Kenneth Coelho of Warren; her nephews, Kyle and Kenneth Coelho; and several aunts, including Edith Reed, Beverly Costa, Lana Bettencourt, and Donna Jacques. She also leaves behind many cousins and dear friends, including “Auntie” Shirley Pattie, Lisa Cowen, Katie, Christine and Scott Campbell.
Gail’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her, and her kind spirit will be greatly missed.
Her Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road, Swansea. Burial will be private.
