Doris M. Conboy Stevens

Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late William and Bernadette (Gaudreau) Conboy, she was a graduate of the former Mt. St. Mary’s Academy and Thibodeau’s Business School in Fall River. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant with the former J&J Corrugated for 15 years until her retirement in 1974. Mrs. Stevens also volunteered at the Charlton Memorial Hospital Gift Shop.

Doris enjoyed winters in Florida, travel, Saturday evening dining with friends, but her favorite enjoyment was being a Mom.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Pamela Krauzyk and her longtime companion Scott Aguiar of Swansea. She was also sister of the late Raymond Conboy.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 11AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church 530 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. Visiting hours will be Saturday from 9 to 10:45AM prior to her mass in the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT BIRCHCREST 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her honor may be made to Dana Faber Cancer Institute PO Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168. Burial will be private.
