Debra M. Barwick

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and Maria Fernanda (Carvalho) Almeida. Debbie worked as a Practice Manager for over 20 years. She was a girl scout leader and an original dance mom. She enjoyed planting and landscaping in her yard, canoeing with her husband on the Taunton River, hanging out in her pool with family and friends and attending every event/activity for her two grandchildren.

Besides her devoted husband, Debbie is survived by her daughter, Lindsay Lachapelle and her husband Scott of Swansea and two grandchildren, Kaylee and Kaleb Lachapelle, as well as three sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM in Christ Church, 57 Main St., Swansea. Relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Debbie’s honor may be made to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, 249 Roosevelt Ave., STE 201, Pawtucket, RI 02860. Burial will be private.
