Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Albert E. and Mary (Koerner) Stevens.
A graduate of Joseph Case, Albert went on to become the Director of purchasing with High Performance Plastics where he was employed for 30 years.
A true lover of life, Albert did not waste one minute. When he wasn’t busy doting on his wife, he was spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed, golfing, traveling, watching the Patriots and Celtics, and spending his summers in Florida Keys. He was a beautiful and witty poet and had many pieces published in the Fall River Herald newspaper. Albert was involved in local politics and was appointed to be in charge of the Housing Authority for 5 years.
Albert is survived by his daughter, Pamela Aguiar and her husband Scott, of Swansea; and his sister Shirley Lewis.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00PM on Sunday, September 11, 2022 in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation will be held prior from 2:00pm-4:00pm. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Albert M.
