Virginia was born October 27th, 1938 in Birds Hill/Cooks Creek Manitoba, where she attended Primary School in the local area, moving to Winnipeg for High School (Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute) then going on to graduate from the University of Manitoba, Art Studies, in 1957. She worked for the City of Winnipeg as well as the Province of BC (Department of Lands and Housing).
Virginia is survived by her husband Ronald Wild of White Rock; sisters Elsie Boychuk of Winnipeg, Lorraine Cebrowski of Winnipeg and Pat Manley of Red Deer; brother Steven Marchillo of Red Deer; sons Geoffrey (Carolyn) J. Wild of Armstrong and David C. Wild of South Surrey; grand-daughters Jacquelyn Schafer of Calgary and Melanie Wild of Calgary; grandson Hunter Wild of Calgary; two great grandsons and two great grand-daughters of Calgary; sister-in-law Margaret Steele of Langley; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
