It is with much love and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tom Ting Yi at the age of 90 years on Monday, December 5, 2022. He was a dear husband, loving father, and beloved grandfather whose selfless sacrifice and devotion to his family will be remembered with grateful hearts. Ting Yi was born in Tainan, Taiwan and moved to Toronto, Canada in the 1970s. The family moved to Richmond, BC in 1976 and eventually to Vancouver. He is survived by his wife, Li Chiao of 61 years, daughter Julia, son Benjamin (Judy), daughter Emily (Vong), daughter Luice (Kenneth), and six grandchildren. Ting Yi will be deeply missed and always fondly remembered
