Sven Knud Caspersen

On Wednesday, January 26, 2022, Sven Knud Caspersen passed away at 92 years of age. Born on February 11,1929 in Nykøbing Falster, Denmark, he immigrated to Canada in 1951. After some wild adventures around B.C., he met and married his wife, Elly (nee Krystad - 1927-2010) in 1958. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Tom (Rebecca) and daughter Karen (Helmut Brodmann); his grandchildren James, Trisha, and Sarah; and his sister Lis Magnusson (Nykøbing Falster, Denmark). He will be fondly remembered by family in Denmark and Norway, and friends in Canada and abroad. In accordance with his wishes, a Memorial Service will not be held. The family is grateful for the care he received at Dania Home and Burnaby General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memoriam donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Lung Association, the Canadian Red Cross or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
