To Judy and family:

  Stan was a great classmate, in junior high, high school, both of you as neighbours in Sullivan, and as clients over the years...life sometimes is not fair...this is definitely one of those times...Stan will be sorely missed and never forgotten by all of us who have known him for so long...may he rest in peace and that you will all find comfort in knowing that others do care..

I was very sorry to hear of Stan's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and the boys.  We have never met, but we met Stan over a beverage at a pub.  Over the years, we have had occasion to enjoy his company and his whole life revolved around you and the boys.  He loved going to the island for his getaways and having the time to enjoy his precious family.  Stan was always smiling and had a kind word for everyone.  We haven't seen Stan for a while but knew what he was going through.  He will be missed by all those he touched, and there were many.  I'm sorry we can't be at the service today, but are both down with the flu.  
I know you don't know us, but we are the couple that made chocolates at Christmas and Stan was on our list of very special people we loved to give to.

Stan leaves behind a family who was very loved.  He will live on in all our hearts.

I trained with Stan (0500 yard) when I started as a conductor with BCRail in 2000. I appreciated his kind heart & great work ethics. I lost my own Dad to cancer & I wish his family comfort & peace as they always remember their loved one & honor his life.

Judy....my heart goes out to you and the kids at this sad time. Stan was such a lovely man and will be missed by all of  you. I'm sorry I can't attend the funeral because I'm working. It upsets me, because you know I would have been there for you. I've just lost someone in my life earlier today, and their funeral will be on that day too. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Anyways, I WILL call you. I just need a bit more time myself. Big hugs to you Judy!
